The Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) of the Reserve Bank of India slashed the short-term lending rate, or repo rate, by 25 basis points to 6 per cent at its third bimonthly policy review on Wednesday (August 2nd).
ರಿಸರ್ವ್ ಬ್ಯಾಂಕ್ ಆಫ್ ಇಂಡಿಯಾದ ಹಣಕಾಸು ನೀತಿ ಸಮಿತಿಯು ಅಲ್ಪಕಾಲೀನ ಸಾಲ ದರವನ್ನು (ರೆಪೋ ದರ) 0.25 ಮೂಲಾಂಶವನ್ನು ಇಳಿಸುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಶೇ 6ಕ್ಕೆ ಇಳಿಕೆ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಮೂರನೇ ದ್ವೈಮಾಸಿಕ ನೀತಿ ಪರಿಶೀಲನಾ ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ತೀರ್ಮಾನ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗಿದೆ.
